Congratulations LeAnne!

Multi-award winning songstress, LeAnne Dlamini is expecting her second child with music mogul husband, Sipho Dlamini.
Both mother and baby are doing extremely well having just passed the five month point. Zani-Lee, LeAnne and Sipho’s first daughter, aged 4, has already shared her excitement about a baby sibling and is sure to make a “wonderful big sister”.

LeAnne is extremely excited to share the news with the rest of the world, and is looking forward to the journey that lies ahead. “My husband and I are very excited to be expanding our family. Having another baby is the ultimate blessing to me,” says LeAnne.
But pregnancy won’t stop LeAnne from doing what she does best, singing! The talented singer will be releasing a brand new single from her new album later on this year, which is expected to be even better than before!
Congratulations to LeAnne and Sipho!! Babies are such a blessing 🙂

Russell Brand adds 2 shows to his SA tour

The overwhelming response to the forthcoming South African tour by comedian, actor and author, Russell Brand in November this year has led to the promoters of the SA leg of the tour, Showtime Management announcing two extra shows.

Starlight Express Mega Musical Opening Night

I am a sucker for musicals and theatre shows so when I received an invite to attend a show at the Joburg Theatre, you can only imagine how excited I was.

Starlight Express was the name of the show and we caught up with the Creator of the show Andrew Lloyd Webber, who said “Starlight Express started life in 1975 as a sort of Cinderella story, which I hoped would be an animated movie. It never got off the ground. Then in 1983 I rewrote it for my children Imogen and Nicholas, in the version that opened in March 1984 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London. Nine years later we revised Starlight and new music was dedicated to my son Alastair. The London show ran for 18 years making it one of the longest running musicals in London theatre history.

Starlight was always meant to be fun, hopefully an entertaining piece of live theatre for a new audience. We are all proud that the show has spawned a new generation of artists and theatre-goers who perhaps never considered going to the theatre before and who may have gone on to other perhaps more conventional things ”

The show was AMAZING!!! The audience had the aaah moments and WOW moments. The show was well rehearsed and everything was on point .

Cast of Starlight Express:

•Ferdinard Gernandt – Electra
•Carly Graeme – Pearl
•Bongi Mthombeni – Poppa McCoy
•David Schlachter – Rusty
•Ziyanda Yako –Dinah
•Andrew Webster – Greaseball

I spotted Lucia Cooper and her daughter.
